W. M. (Will) Turnage, CMPE is our Practice Administrator

Will has over 30 years of medical practice management experience. He is a Certified Medical Practice Executive and a member of the Medical Group Management Association. Will recently served as administrator over a sports medicine practice servicng Middle Tennessee State University. Will has also planned and managed the building of a 60,000 square foot medical services complex for a Flordia medical practice. Will is an ex-drummer who enjoys computers and astronomy. He currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Myrna Cooper is our Controller and HR Manager
Myrna has worked here since 1983. She has an MBA and is also a Certified Ophthalmic Executive and Certified Medical Office Manager. Myrna is responsible for financial reporting and management, payroll and accounts payable management, employee benefits administration, and facilities management. In addition, Myrna is the HIPAA Privacy Officer and is also a Notary Public. She is a retired Navy officer. She is married with two wonderful children and enjoys mountain biking, hiking and old classic movies.

Monica Moreno is our Clinical Manager
Monica began her career in Ophthalmology in 1997. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and specializes in contact lens fitting. She has been with EyeCare Associates of Texas since September of 2002 and has been Clinical Manager since March of 2007. She heads all clinical staff for all 3 locations and works side by side with the physicians of EyeCare Associates of Texas, P.A. to ensure quality patient care. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and 2 young children.

Michael Trombley is our IT Manager
Michael joined the EyeCare Team in September of 2006 and oversees the computer network that connects all three of our locations together. Michael has over 20 years of experience in the computer industry and has obtained several industry certifications. He has also built two large networks for publicly traded financial companies. Michael is also responsible for our medical software and telephone systems and is our practice's HIPAA Security Officer.  Michael is also a member of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society). He is married and has three grown sons, one daughter-in-law and one incredibly cute grandson. He is an avid reader, bible teacher and enjoys online computer games.

Thomas Borden is our Optical Manager
Thomas has worked in the optical industry since 1988. He is certified by both the American Board of  Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners. Additionally, he currently holds licenses in Kentucky and Tennessee. A recent transplant from Memphis, Thomas joined the Eyecare Associates of Texas, P.A. team in July of 2007 to head up the Optical Division. Thomas, his wife, and his sons are enthusiastic about their move to Texas and love to spend their weekends exploring all the attractions of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Our Technical Assistants
