Gowri Pachigolla grew up in Houston and attended Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine. She then found her way to Dallas where she completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Following residency she pursued a fellowship in anterior segment, cataract and refractive surgery back in Houston at Baylor.


Dr. Pachigolla diagnoses and treats many conditions of the eye but she has a special interest in complex cataract surgery, corneal diseases and corneal transplantation surgery. She also treats diseases of the ocular surface, including but not limited to pterygia and dry eye syndrome. Additionally she provides comprehensive eye care including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular injuries, infections, diabetic eye exams and routine eye exams.


In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband & family, traveling, jogging, playing tennis and rooting for her native Houston professional sports teams, especially the Houston Rockets and Houston Texans.
