Dr. Block attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology, graduating with honors. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from the University Of Mississippi Medical Center School Of Medicine. Upon completion of her medical degree she attended the University Of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she finished a residency in ophthalmology in 2025. Dr. Block is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Block joined EyeCare Associates of Texas in 2026. Dr. Block provides a full range of comprehensive eye care to her patients including the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, diabetes and macular degeneration. Her scope of practice also includes the surgical and nonsurgical management of glaucoma, including laser surgery, MIGS, and medication therapy.
Dr. Block enjoys spending her free time with her husband and keeps very busy with numerous activities.
